Each of the firm's attorneys maintains an open-door policy, thereby affording summer associates and new full-time associates an opportunity to ask questions of, and voice concerns to, any individual with whom they feel comfortable. In addition, each summer associate is assigned a full-time associate to assist him or her throughout his or her time with the firm. And, typically, each new full-time associate is assigned two shareholders to serve as mentors, whereby each such associate receives feedback and evaluations of his or her performance, during formal semi-annual reviews, and on an informal basis, periodically, throughout each year.
